It’s always irritates me when people say “We have to save the planet.” Unless we blow it up somehow, the planet will be just fine. Like Venus is a ok planet. Just not fit for human inhabitation. Science says back in the dinosaur days, the CO2 concentration was in the thousands of parts per million. Planet was full of life. If we had our tech, we would probably be fine. Were parts of the current US under water? Yup. In other words, life would be different for humans, if we could survive there at all. The planet would be fine, indeed full of life. Just not us as is now. But " We have to keep the planet right for human life as we know it" just doesn’t seem right. Should we be responsible with our actions? Yes. I do what I can. But saying we can destroy the planet is hubris. Saying we can make it unfit for human life is a possibility. Just say “Keep the planet fit for for human life. Don’t commit self genocide.”
I’m so glad we — as a species — heeded this 10-year old warning to stop polluting, and take better care of the planet. Boy, I’d feel real sorry for the timeline where we continued to ignore all the warning signs and not only continued polluting, but actually increased certain pollution levels over the last 10 years since this comic originally ran….

And the best thing that would slow or stop the climate change is ridding the planet of at least half the human population. Thanos had it right.

We will get back to 3 billion. We’ll have to go to 12 – 15 billion and live through the wars and famines and epidemics, but we will get there.

Totally agree, Mother Nature will take care of herself first even if that means culling humans.
