The last four administrations as of today, with the current administration continuing to do nothing. That’s well over 25 years worth of inaction, when 35 years ago we knew it was happening, and could have done the “easy” stuff to head it off. Back 35 years ago we were told a 2ºC rise in global temperatures would be catastrophic, now some climate scientists tell us we’ll “only” see a 2ºC rise so don’t panic.
Like so many other things in this existence we call “life”, the ones who are least suited for the change are the ones most affected, while the wealthy DGAF and make it worse for everyone.
And more than a third of the passengers of the Titanic singing “Hey Bus Driver Speed Up a Little Bit”. If oars were applicable, they’d be doing that too.
