I’m from the 1940’s Buck Rogers generation, with Buster Crabbe and the little spark-spitting space toy on a wobbly wire. Lots of kids made toy space sets in those years because they could see on screen how all the special effects worked.
I cut my high school calculus class to see Episode IV when it was just Star Wars. And now 42 years later, the last episode. I won’t spoil it, but I wish George could have had some say in it. I still hate Marcia.

Guess what generation I’m from. Hint: my avatar.
(Well, actually, I’m a little later, but close enough.)

And the force is strong with us episode IV people…we’ve lived long anyway.

When 800 years old you get, as good looking you will not be.
