Saw a weird one yesterday. A cop had a bucket of salt. Instead of spreading it out as he went down the walk to the station, he started walking down to the sidewalk and slipped.
One winter morning in college I was on my way to class when I lost traction. Looked just like panel #2 but managed to stay upright. A French professor from Vietnam just stared in horror. Cultural differences, I guess.
My brother-in-law does not mind ice, for me was at what was my mom’s house, there was ice on the drive, side on the passenger not too bad, my side ice, I tried to step at and foot slipped, I fell split my rear in half that painful that was couple years back. Just recently had ice storm I waited before I went to a women fun time, road was clear, my brother-in-law was headed to work, just started to go inside did not see ice, he fell and fractured his foot, company caught it on video.
Needs to have doctor check out his sleep disorder where he doesn’t open his eyes when he gets out of bed. It has been shown in numerous strips. He is especially accident prone in this state…and more likely to be deceived by his kids.

better put some ice on that bruised head, Roger, to lessen the swelling

Like how one house shoe hung on a tree branch.

Sorry, that is more coincidence than irony.

I thought irony was the opposite of wrinkly

The irony is that he’s looking at an ad for a “slip and fall” attorney and wondering if he could win the case.

At least Roger looks awake now. A face-plant on ice seems to work better than coffee.

I like that his coffee cup has a little X bandage on it now.

Ultimate irony? Getting pregnant on a pullout couch.

Is it ironic that he seems to be reading the back of the paper (likely sports or weather)?

Fitting for today’s weather in the midwest where we’re having ice and freezing rain this morning.
