Alligators most certainly can climb fences….but Lorenzo is gonna think Tracy gave him the steak, and befriend him.Why kill the goose that lays the golden eg….I mean steaks?

One night long ago I got up to go to the bathroom. Turned on the light and found a gator in the bathtub. To shorten the story, a couple of kids were roused from their sleep to fix the problem. It was only about four feet long though.

Hopefully Tracy is made of tofu.

I don’t even feel much of a threat here. Maybe because of the crocodile smile. But he looks like he’ll eat the steak and cuddle with Tracy.

Gator smells Tracy’s stinky yellow coat and decides not to eat him.

I can’t wait for tomorrow’s strip, when he wakes, and exclaims “YE GODS!”

Totally not feasible. An alligator THAT size would not be able to scale that fence. Try this test at home and you’ll see what I mean. Go to a chain link fence and try climbing it. The fence has “give” so it bends (or sags) with your weight while still remaining upright. This alligator would HAVE to weigh at least five HUNDRED to a thousand pounds…the fence wouldn’t support the weight of him A) climbing up it and B) him climbing down. He would either have torn the fence down or been unable to scale it.

As for yesterday’s “hole” in the fence…I commented on it being “artistic license” meaning that if Joe had continued the cross-hatch illustration of the fence, it would have obscured the alligators face so that’s why the “hole” was there

“Lucky for these guys I’m a vegan.” LOL

Anyone gonna lose sleep (Other than maybe Neil) over whether the Fearsome Foursome succumb to the gator?
