Some people who insist on watching the national and international news constantly have what I call Superman Syndrome. A dam breaks in South America. Here comes news addict Superman to save the day. Earthquakes in California. Here comes Supes again. Turning your back on the news won’t stop bad things from happening. Get a grip. A majority of the other news addicts just love to suffer. I try to watch enough to be informed, but the local news and weather are what I can deal with on a personal level so that’s what’s important.
