Due to leaving the house before the GC website had sorted itself out this morning (it looked as if they were having some issues), Wednesday’s offering of cats is slightly delayed…….
Phew I thought it was me being in a hotel! Vegas today and the house hunt begins!
And, unfortunately The Orange Menace is gonna get a sock full of coal. Which might , for him,not be such a bad thing. He could burn it out on the loading dock for warmth!
So, I wasn’t the only one who was having troubles getting onto this site last night! I finally had to give up and go to bed, hoping the site would be up and running when I got up in the morning.
Bake Cookies Day. I don’t have time for that today since I’ll be leaving for work soon. But I do plan on baking sugar cookies on Saturday. I’ll probably make a batch of fudge on Saturday too. And if I get real ambitious, I’ll even do a batch of divinity!
Chesney, you’r a naughty boy and you know it. Try not to end up on the loading dock on a day like it is here in Wisconsin today. It nearly hit 0°F here overnight and is expected not to get out of the teens today.
To Marge from yesterday – when I was a kid, I wished we would have 2 Christmases. I wanted a second one in June or July because “a whole year is too long to wait” I said. I couldn’t understand why everybody else didn’t agree (the younger kids in my family agreed, but my mom and older sisters didn’t. My dad made no comment, but I know which side he would have been on). But now, I find that one Christmas a year is good enough.
At least Chesney’s being realistic. Might want to ask for a pair of mittens too. On another note, heard a bird chirping while out walking today. Didn’t see it, so I don’t know what species it was. I do know it wasn’t a chickadee as they have a more distinctive call.

Weather forecast says it is getting warm here, about 14°C = 60°F – and no white Christmas. You have to take the weather as it comes!
