Santa knows it is more blessed to give than to receive. Still, it would be nice if someone would give Santa a gift. Mrs Claus probably gives him a present.

National Re-gifting Day. I guess that must mean that you find things you were given last year and re-wrap them for someone else. That reminds me of a story I saw in the paper years and years ago about these two brothers who re-gift the same pair of ugly jeans every year. But they “wrap” the gift in unusual ways (like dunking the jeans in a block of wet cement and letting it harden). They kept challenging each other to find a way to “wrap” the jeans where the other one couldn’t get to them.

From yesterday’s comments to JAY REIDER – I live in southern Wisconsin, not very far from Madison.

I dreamt last night that I adopted a half-feral six month old kitten.

Oliver must be the most lovable kitty ever!

As a child I knew our chimney was too skinny for Santa so I would quietly unlock all the doors and windows in the house on Christmas Eve. It worked, I always got presents and the cookies were gone!

Don’t worry, Oliver. Mrs Claus and the elves are getting him a month in Tahiti at a really nice hotel on the beach. The reindeer are giving Mr. and Mrs. Claus the flight up and back.

So sweet of Oliver to think about Santa..not many do.

Oh, Oliver is SO Sweet. What a darling angel! He thinks of others first. My Ollie has been eyeing my Charlie Brown tree (daughter once thought I decorated a fallen branch). No guy wires this year so hoping all 3 keep their paws off.

A grey kitten would bookend nice with my black girl.

Little-known fact: Santa doesn’t believe in Santa. He’s in counseling for poor self-image.
