A Sunday strip on a Monday! It got me quite confused for a minute there. I thought yesterday was Sunday. Looking at my calendar, I see yesterday WAS Sunday and this strip is a memory of another Christmas. Okay, I’m clear on that now.
Today I am decorating our pinyon pine from last year, and putting up one string of lights outside. I have a present from Craig, a book he ordered from the hospital gift shop several weeks ago, and he would want it under our tree.
Has anyone heard from bbear today? He’s usually on here fairly early.Back to my sewing. I started a new quilt called lemon fresh – all yellow, black, white and green. Of of the patterns even has recipes for lemonade. I got a big piece of that for the backing.
Sad news about sweet Patches. He’s riddled with lung cancer. Melody is going to keep him at home until she thinks he’s ready to go and just baby him. I have to wonder if the people who turned him in at the shelter months ago knew he was sick. I was concerned when I had him because he wasn’t eating much. The vet gave him antibiotics, the standard cure-all, and he seemed to be better, which is when Melody took him. This going to be really hard on her because she just loves him to death. (poor choice of words, I know)

I will grant that the fish bones are very decorative. As for the rest…. And shouldn’t that be a lobster at the top of the tree?
