I have 300 channels on my TV: 100 of them are showing the Shark Vacuum Infomercial 24/7, 100 of them are covering the Impeachment and 50 of them are in Spanish (which is OK, I get it, but I don’t speak Spanish) and 50 of them are showing reruns.
Except for the infomercials which are 100% commercials, the others are 33% commercial. I do remember when cable TV was trying to get a foothold. They said, “Since you are paying for the service, there will be NO commercials.”
For all this, I pay a lot of money every month. Every now and then the company gets in a pissing match with a network and we just don’t get that programming. We are not compensated for any loss of service (as during a dispute or when the cable is completely out) and in fact, they will probably raise our rates again.
I call them once a year and ask to speak with the “customer retention” department to get my bill reduced.
And that, boys and girls is what having a monopoly does for you.
Looks like some folks are watching the Propaganda Channel, where impeachment is just another silly idea. Time for some journalism. Please examine more sources, people. This is not a time to fall into rabbit holes of spin bubbles. Widen your sources, that’s all I’m saying.
Like we didn’t know this was the way it was going, Presidents need to be Presidential, but if he or she (it will happen sooner or later) isn’t it leads us to the situation we have now. Mrs. Maisel is a good choice or Shitts Creek as alternative viewing.
I don’t care if Trump pays off the national debt and cures cancer. I will never support a person who accepts help to win an election from a Communist adversary who armed the North Koreans and North Vietnamese armies who killed over 100000 American soldiers collectively.

Not a fan of the show but it would be preferable to the network newsies.
