This guy was home schooled and became a prodigy. He was also deeply disturbed and had a mostly unhappy life despite enrolling in Harvard at age nine.

There is also regular school and you probably won’t become a snob.
I don’t know about the “lifestyl”, but it’s nice to be able to put money aside for college instead.
