We had a ferret who was as attached to his toy ferret (which was larger than he was) as Calvin is to Hobbes, and when he had had his share of treats Spot would drag his toy over to where the treats were and repeatedly point to the treats and bump his toy till his toy got a treat. Somehow the toy never ate the treats, though…
