Can we harass and toss Sadie from the premises now?
whenever anyone utters the phrase ‘at the end of the day’ around me, I say ’it’s night’ before they can continue
“It is what it is …”
“Win-Win”
“It is what it is.”
[shrug]
And other expressions of the criminally minded.
“On the other hand” is just as bad, Sadie!
Unfortunately, that day will be the end of eternity – - – The Last Election Day. RIP
At this point in time, I have to agree with Sadie about “at the end of the day”… but it is what it is.
Why is it always “At the End of the Day”?
Why not “At the Noon of the Day”?
Or maybe, “At the Brunch of the Day”?
Or, even: “At the 2:00 AM of the Night”?
Basically, at the end of day, and when all is said and done, and to tell you the truth…
