Ooh, this is going to be great! Some answers to the physics of the place. Maybe she’ll explain what it is that causes Topsiders to mutate/transform as soon as their suits are punctured.
Sounds like part of that interdimensional bleedover, matter and mass is being transferred. Too much in one spot and others get drained, resulting in a vacuum.
I like her. She’s intelligent and not homicidal. Refreshing change from most of the characters they meet, especially topsiders. So she’s not a ‘topsider’ but wears a suit similar to one. Very interesting.
Wally has that “I wanna believe you, but you sound crazy.”- face on again. After meeting with the two other “friendly” topsiders before the lizard colony, he must have questions about more than what the physics of their situation is.
Personally I’m enjoying the Physics lecture though…
But I do agree – this “topsider” – if that’s what she is – is our first look at those who (presumably) have not “mutated” (or whatever else has happened to them).
What connection does she have to the other “topsiders”?
And if they know it’s not a virus causing the “mutations,” why the sam hill were “topsiders” trying to kill the “mutants”?

What’s their current weight, as compared to mass?

Little by little the veil is becoming thinner…….I am a bit more convinced she is our missing Melodie Marx.

Interesting point that I don’t think I’ve heard anyone mention before. The mutants just take their new shape for granted.

Something I fear: For the most part, I’ve enjoyed this story of humans disguised as cartoon animals having all-too-real life-and-death adventures.
I fear that the “explanation” of how all this came about will be – disappointing.
Among other things, the full explanation will likely be the end of the tale.
Or tail.
What have you.

It sounds like body mass is swapping realities the same as energy is in “Albert and free energy”!

This current arc sounds like it meshes with the current arc on GPF (General Protection Fault).

Multiverse, multiverse, cannot rhyme all the time,
Getting verse and even verse, these lyrics all are mine.

I caught a glitch… In panel three, the Topsider’s antenne swited to the Right ear, the other panels have it on the left.
