Mom had the best rule for clutter. If you have not used it, touched it or looked for it for a year, it needs to be disposed of. Then I married a man that still has car parts for cars he owned in the 70’s.
My hubby buys me clothes for my birthday and at Christmas. In September and January we pull clothes out of the closet that I haven’t worn for a year or more and send them to Goodwill to make room for the new stuff!
