It’s a Kindle, silly person.

It’s probably just as well, you probably don’t have network coverage out there in the sticks.

Keep it. It works as well as my iPod. It does everything except make calls.

Cell phone? These days, it’s basically a pocket computer, not much used for phoning even when it does have that function!
