FYI, Woodstock : barbed wire is NOT a landing strip !

Sort of like stepping on a tack weed barefoot.

Most birds carry a power meter to see if it is electrified.

Poor Woodstock.

that’s going to sting for a while!

But of course, Woodstock isn’t like MOST birds, or ANY birds, for that matter!

I’ve gotten snagged jumping over a barb wire fence.

Maybe Woodstock needs a power meter.

Yeah, but Woodstock is not most birds.

Sorry I’m late, everybody. Was working at the grocery store until closing time and did some of the clean up after closing. Clocked out at 2345 and zonked out until 0030. At least it wasn’t as mayem-like as Saturday and Friday.

Ouch.

Generally speaking I don’t think barbed wire fences are electrified, nor do electric wire fences have barbs. Most of the time it would be kind of redundant to have both.

Poor Woodstock.

And most squirrels don’t touch two separate electrical lines at the same time, either. But….

But once in awhile, a squirrel also finds out the hard way when it touches the transformer with a front foot while leaving a back foot on the wire…
