Interesting that she assumes she will never agree with anyone identifying as Democrat. I mostly vote Democrat but have occasionally voted for moderate Republicans who were decent people.

At the very least, all the Democrats running are law abiding and interested in preserving democracy. Plus they don’t like Nazis.

The vote for conviction was ultimately bipartisan, robbing Trump and Republicans of a key talking point, while those voting for acquittal were strictly Republican.

No Democrats voted with Republicans to clear Trump on either of the articles, while one Republican, Sen. Mitt Romney (UT) voted to remove the President on abuse of power.

Anything other than voting for the Democratic nominee — including NOT voting — is a vote for Trump.

Months before President Trump pressured Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to open investigations during the infamous July 25 phone call, henchmen working for his attorney nearly succeeded in doing the same with the previous Ukrainian leader.

Text messages obtained by TPM show that former Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko was scheduled to announce investigations into the Bidens and the 2016 election to John Solomon of The Hill in March 2019.

Ultimately, Poroshenko backed out of the interview at the last minute.

The planned appearance came in the wake of a late February meeting that the then-Ukrainian leader held with Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, in which they offered what Parnas has described as a “quid pro quo” on behalf of Rudy Giuliani and his client, President Trump: announce investigations into the Bidens and the 2016 election, and receive in return a state visit to the U.S. that could bolster Poroshenko’s re-election chances.

Lutsenko told Bloomberg in a May 16 interview after Yovanovitch’s departure that there was no evidence to suggest wrongdoing on Biden’s part.

“I do not want Ukraine to again be the subject of U.S. presidential elections,” Lutsenko told Bloomberg. “Hunter Biden did not violate any Ukrainian laws — at least as of now, we do not see any wrongdoing.”

Well, maybe Carmen (by which, of course, I mean Stantis) can vote Libertarian again. It looks like the current frontrunner in the Libertarian Party is Vermin Supreme, that guy who wears a boot on his head. I look forward to Carmen talking him up!

There was speculation in the press about the reaction of Trump to his Impeachment and Trial. Would he be Presidential due to the election, or would he go crazy? Trump’s actions at the National Prayer Breakfast today show he is in full on “Go Crazy & Get Even Mode.”

Speaking as someone who is working with a whole bunch of other people to correct out 2016 mistake, all I can say is “Thank you Mr. Trump. You have made our job easier.”
