“It’s the job of kids like Jeremy to make kids like you conform.”
So, that, plus his taking offense where none was intended, confirms it: Jeremy IS a woke activist!
And I kind of expected the principal to confront Jeremy about his bullying, not back up his bullying. Perhaps that is really Jeremy disguised as the principal behind said principal’s back?
I’ve been in Ozzy’s spot. I got three days suspension in Jr High for telling a bully off then getting beat up by the bully. He explained that if I wasn’t so confrontational there would have been no fight so it was all my fault. I explained he was pushing me around calling me ugly names so I verbally confronted him….he took offense to being called names and started to pummel me till two teachers got him off meBest three days off ever! I hung out at the local slot car racing place.
I once heard a parent who defended bulling as the bully was “policing” the other kids. Sure enough one of the bullies in my class became a policeman when he graduated.
I finally had enough of my bully and fought back. Broke his nose, dislocated a kneecap and gave him a spiral fracture of his right arm. The principal asked my why would I do such a thing, “You told me to handle it myself.” Best two weeks in middle school followed closely by seeing the bully return to school with a cast on his arm and a limp. He went out of his way to avoid me.

Reminds me of the school counselor who told my mom he was worried about me — because I wasn’t “sowing my wild oats” like the other boys. (sigh)
