What alternative does she want? A store with one brand of each product and people standing in line for hours two days a month? For the FDA to decide how many brands of what products there should be? She should be thinking “abundance . . . choices . . . prosperity . . . freedom . . . capitalism”.
The last time I went to the store, with shelves empty, I figured this is a good time for the stores stores to weed out the products that people don’t want. Because obviously what’s left on the selves, people aren’t buying.
I wrote this comic strip after finding FROZEN TOAST in Kroger. FROZEN… TOAST. You know why I didn’t just say ‘Frozen Toast’ in the comic? Would you have thought it looked too absurd, even in a comic strip? Yes, you would.
