CC: charley! theres sharks…
sea monster..and a mile of extremely rough water between you and the beach!!
charley: it doesnt matter sir. Im a gardener.
Nate: what the heck is he doing?
the first seed catalogues are here.
In Canada, the first official day of spring is the May 2-4 (first weekend AFTER May 24th) when everyone plants. It’s a stat holiday on the Monday, but every Garden Centre is open and they usually do 60-80% of their year sales on that weekend.
I have my seeds started indoors already and I think we’re past the last frost here in the South. My sunflowers are bursting out of the pots so they should be fun this year.
Dry - sorry, but even IF … the big “it’s finally spring!” day is May 23rd this year. It’s a little less then a month till Summer at that point, but, that’s when the temps will finally start to be around 20C (maybe even 22 or 25!)

Shouldn’t they have their mail box on the ship? Hey isn’t that Seahawk up there at the top above the strip? Next to Cecilia?

Commentator Good eye! Yes that is Seahawk and Cecilia. I miss them in the strip, too.
darat you’d be surprised what you can plant in a tiny space.
You and me both Charley. When those things come in the mail, you know winter HAS to end sometime!
Good morning Crew!

Allan not if you start your seeds indoors.

Maybe Charley will hire the mice this year to protect his plants from the rabbits.
nandarozenstraten almost 14 years ago
I’m not sure that the mice will not eat the seeds! He then has two enemies for his planting!
