Hmmm, countries darkly coloured are Tunisia Libya, Egypt, the Sudan,Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Djibouti, Somalia and Oman,
Lightly coloured are Iraq, Algeria, Yemen. Conspicuously unchanged, bearing in mind the cartoonist’s origin, is Israel (or is it lightly coloured, too?)
Interesting how Obama will take credit for something that he truly had NOTHING to do with. I seem to remember some major ahifts in foreign policy toward the Middle East under Republican Presidents that would have more to do with these changes than what any Democrat has done when in Office. Just sayin’…..
I wasn’t aware Obama was taking credit for the latest changes in the Middle east. Au contraire.
The Palestinian cartoonist is more likely pointing out that Obama had promised changes which had hinted including the Israeli/Palestinian peace talks (I can stand to be corrected here). Everything else is changing but the situation in Israel/Palestine.
^ Global price increases in food stuffs are the result of past US admin foreign policies? Oh.
Magic, have you ever seen a politician, of any stripe, who didn’t take credit for anything good or blame his opponents for anything bad that happened be it feast or famine?
this would have never happened under a republican becasue middle eastern people whould rather stick with their brutal leaders than be “liberated” by Bush.

See there Dj you and I are condemned together. What does that tell you about the thinking in our country?

^ Yup. You think they would have trusted Bush enough to ask that?
