At least it is just a cold. If this strip was set in the present day, Red would have to self-isolate.

A runny nose in zero gravity? I’d rather not think about it, Rover!

But without gravity would his nose run?

Hope it’s not the Hong Kong flu! I had that around that time. Was sick for a month! Rover, take good care of your bud!

An astronaut in his helmet could drown in his own vomit, so yeah.

Mom’s policy was, “if you’re too sick to go to school, you’re too sick to get out of bed.” Worked for me! I didn’t stay home unless I was REALLY bad.

I have runny nose, but that is common for me.
