Why doesn’t Jon ever use a laser pointer on Garfield for revenge?

I think would Jon should do is tell Garfield that a chocolate chip cookie he’s about to have is actually a raisin cookie, or maybe tell him that a donut is low-fat. That would get Garfield to leave his food alone. Then again, since this is Jon we’re talking about, he’s not fast enough to do that in regards to Garfield.

Happiness is a well-fed cat…or so we’re led to believe.

Wouldn’t cats get sick from eating chocolate chips? I know it’s not raisins because Garfield hates raisins.

I picture Jon hiding in a dark closet about eat, when two eyes pop open and [snatch].
