Right…. and how do you get viruses and other germs?
It would be very rare to get them via your sleeve or pant leg.
You pick them up on your hands, or inhale them through your nose and mouth… which you need to keep uncovering, if you want to eat, write, use the ATM, or do most of the things you’re leaving home for.
Or he’s trying to decide who is the more foolish – himself or them. If it exists where you are, you are as liable to get it as anyone else, regardless of precautions.
There is a reasonable concern and sensible precaution and then there is an irrational fear and extreme reaction. Which side of the equation are you on?
Adults who don’t vaccinate their kids “because everybody else is vaccinated, so we’re safe” are kind of like Bob. And they’re probably right as long as they don’t hang around too much with other people who think just like them.
Don’t panic, if you are in reasonably health and especially if you don’t smoke, you will likely not have symptoms worst than any other illness you’ve ever had. However, if don’t feel well, it’s your responsibility to use care and stay away from people who could have severe issues with a respiratory disease.
Unfortunately, most Americans can’t stay away from work for a few weeks up to a month, so this is likely to get worst before it gets better.
I love this comic, but I hate how optimism is always portrayed in a negative light. Optimism is NOT the same thing as stupidity! There is a huge difference!

Don’t worry, be happy – Trump.
Over 500 cases in the US. Virus defies Trump, Trump calls virus a childish name.

Well, I am not really a fad guy, or someone who follows the crowd, but if I see everyone wearing their MOPP gear with gas mask on, I put mine on too.

The good news is you are as safe as they are since you aren’t breathing their germs or touching their hands.
