I used to love/hate a cereal named 40% Bran Flakes 50 years ago. I loved the taste with some sugar for about 3 minutes then it turned to mush. Disgusting!
Hubby really prefers his cereal mushy. He puts on the milk and then walks out to get the newspaper. Our dive is nearly a tenth of a mile long, if that gives you any idea.
Really!? I with Clayton on this one. Admittedly I eat old folk cereal now by I like it to be soft and mushy by the time I start eating it. Except for the raisins. I want them hard and chewy.
I kind of side with Clayton. But I am weird I like cocoa Krispies with chocolate milk and chocolate syrup. If mom was not paying attention I would toss in a handful of chocolate chip. Once I even added mild duds oh the sugar rush.
I used to hate Captain Crunch because it would never get soggy. It was true to its name all the way. I liked the cereal called Quisp. It tasted pretty much like Captain Crunch but it got soggy readily. I guess I’m just plain weird LOL
My Dad liked his cereal mushy (me too). I remember when Grandma (Mom’s mom) was visiting; Daddy poured milk and walked away to let it set. Poor Grandma! She was “Ewwww Chuck, how can you eat it like that?” I can picture the kitchen/table where they sat. Thanks for the memory Mr Harrell ♥

Cereal mush? Polite pass.

My dear Dad used to put hot milk on his cornflakes which made them mushy. I can still remember that smell at breakfast time.

I’m looking forward to rain
I don’t have to shovel rain or scrape it off of my windshield in the morning

Soggy is good. I’ve found that you don’t need to cook oatmeal – simply let it sit in the milk for a minute. If you must have crunchy, add some nuts.

After 2 or 3 months with no rain we’re finally going to get showers today (or so I hope!) My lawn is crunchy.

I prefer my cereal mushy. It has to do with having summer teeth.

Not a fan of the soggy cereal. I put the milk in the bowl first, then add cereal as I go to maintain the crunch.

Hated soggy cereal. DON’T PUT THE MILK ON THE CEREAL! It belongs in a glass, thank you.

I still treat my cereal as a two-course meal. First course crunchy and semi-sweet, second course mushy and swimming in sugar…
