Vero: I became an educator so I could teach all the children. But not all of them on the same day, in the same room! Because I am Vero Varela: Greedy Teacher
All of Wisconsin is getting screwed by Gov Walker and the Republicans. Although much of the country—certainly “right to work” states—is much worse off financially. This is a hugh coup by the GOP and their corporate masters. It had nothing to do with the budget (Union employee pensions are 99% solvent in Wi) but rather is a power grab by a greedy contingent of the corporate rich to deny working taxpayers a place at the bargaining table. The Neoprene® boot heel is coming down. Time to stand up, inform yourselves completely and act accordingly, be it through social action (RECALL) or shopping habits. Start by eliminating Dixie® brand products from your shopping carts, among sorted other consumables from the Koch bros. No more AngelSoft® toilet tissue either.
The actual bill that was passed was just a bill to strip the Union of bargaining right. It had no budget or any other legislation. That was all that Gov. Walker ever wanted to do.
The Corporate assault on the middle class is in full swing.
and yet there are millions , yes millions of middle class right wing folks who believe everything that they are fed and continue to vote against themselves……
amazing, absolutely amazing
ok righties , jump in here and make everything clear that if you give huge tax breaks to the corporations that it will translate to jobs for everyone
dee… dde de deee.dee…. new update! (I can’t afford the teletype.)
6 years ago the gov. of Indiana (a Dem state) got rid of, wait for it… wait for it… that’s right, “collective barganing” -ing - ing -ing (echo).
awww. :(
And guess what happened? State expense went down, revenue ended up increasing and the overall wage of the employees ended up increasing too. In fact, the gov. instituted a method generally used in private businesses called teacher evaluations. And based on those evaluations teachers got their raises and even bonuses (if they were really good) and poor teachers were more easily eliminated so as to not harm the education of the kids in large numbers for years and years. Thus, the quality of education has also increased.
And he’s actually REALLY popular. huh? Whodathunkit?

So the republithugs continue to destroy the middle class, mass majority of Americans. Time to stand up and rise up against this possible dictatorship.
