I hate the speaking signals that criticize me; “Weight, weight,…”

Pluggers are wary of signs like that because they know that motorists don’t exactly pay attention to them.:/

Go for the Old School : Stop , Look , and Listen for we don’t have those signs in my part of the blue marble ;-)

Why do signals make a bleeping sound?

Lets the blind know when to stop and when to go.

They let the blind drive?

Pluggers don’t bother me, it’s the twits that start crossing after the light has changed.

A plugger pedestrian is frequently in danger of getting hit by plugger drivers.

And there are always the texters and talkers — or maybe they are just looking at an app that tells them when to stop and go.

The speaking crosswalk systems need to go from Walk, Walk, to Run Like Hell in the final 3 seconds.

I seem to have become invisible to today’s driver. If no cars are coming, a right on a red is fine, peds be damned

I thought you got extra points for catching them on the run.

Pluggers need to start at the beginning of the sequence.. not dawdle and start 2 seconds before the don’t walk part starts.

Drivers just need to be patient. Green means go if it is safe. If a plugger is still in the crosswalk, it ain’t safe, so stay put.

I like the ones that tell how long left till the light changes… I thing the yellow lights for cars should do that too

It’s not just a plugger problem. Sometimes the signals are horribly timed. When I was in 4th & 5th grade, I had to cross a busy 4-lane to get to school. The “WALK” signal ALWAYS changed to “WAIT” when I was 3/4 of the way across.

Lived in a downtown apartment where I could hear the talking signals. All night. :)

drivers could use warnings to protect them against all the pluggers stepping randomly out into traffic as the notion take them…
