Loved doing spring cleaning with my mom. She would call the school to say I was sick and would be out…“doctors” orders for 2 weeks. However, my one teacher knew that I wasn’t as it happened the same time each year ….so she’d say “So is the house all cleaned top to bottom” …..I would just smile. She really didn’t care as she knew I’d be practicing each day on my shorthand, etc. Didn’t need to do the typing lessons as I was typing 65 wpm when I came in and as the years went on in class I got up to 75 wpm.

We had spring AND fall. Everything wiped down from ceiling to floor. What looooooooong one weeks they were.
