Yeah, but that was back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth.

The older I get, the better I was.

None of us were ever as good as we think we were.

I’m a millennial dad, I don’t care.

I’ll bet the youngster is staring at his phone

But deciding what you want to be when you grow up is so much harder today than it was when you were my age.

As obese as you appear, you’re lucky to get off the ground! ;o)

No ambition? Are you just gonna sit here forever and let me bring worms to you?

And I was flying uphill! Both ways!

So.. stop feeding him (her?). An empty stomach is a great incentive to get off your butt.

Ah … yes! There I was inverted, at 300 FT, power on, nose low, and the instructor announces, “Ensign, it’s your plane!”

And, Mom – next time you’re out; how about some Cheetos and Mountain Dew

I had 200 hours of flying time before I was 17. I was in the air everyday during that summer and almost every weekend. Flew to Oshkosh for the first time that summer.

Time for the empty nest syndrome.

This brings back memories of the kinds of things my dad (the greatest generation) said to us as kids (boomer). Back then we said, “Sure, pops!” (Usually behind his back.) Now it’s, “OK, Boomer.”

In the snow, sleet and -40 degrees F.
