Have embarked upon the “news about news” phase: the morning rag used space describing hand over fist its promise to provide readership with the latest breaking news.

When has it ever been sane in the world. We only have a little rest between the wars to restock and rearm.

Guys, nothing says you can’t start your own deliberate three-hour cruise. The bad news is that with your luck, it would end up in quarantine off Japan, and you’ll die an ugly death.

How will they know that sanity has been restored? Are they waiting for a smoke signal? A dove with an olive branch? A slowing of people trying to board the ship of bliss?

So – how exactly do they plan to work out when it’s safe to return?
