This time of year Winter and Spring are fighting.
Still very much Winter here in northern Maine. Snow piles in my driveway are over 6’ high!

Winterburn only has two seasons. Nine months of winter and three months of something else.
Not in Pennsylvania this year, which is highly unusual. Very mild and migration is about 2 weeks early, which will help a lot of birds to, possibly have an extra clutch, which, hopefully, will help with the explosion of the insect population.
It wouldn’t have mattered either way. It has snowed in Edmonton every month but one over a number of years.
The universe remains indifferent to us. It just seems like it’s out to get us.
There is a winter storm advisory for this afternoon and into tonight here in Northern Colorado
it is know to snow in May so the changing of seasons has nothing to do with when OLD MAN WINTER decides to take a much needed rest.

It’s 26 and snowing in Helena, MT right now! But, it’s supposed to get to the high 40’s for a few minutes this weekend.
I just had a snowstorm in New Hampshire.
Clear and chilly morning here in the PNW. Can see the Cascades East, Olympics West.
