On another note… the neighbor has a fake owl on his roof, to discourage pigeons. Today my daughter and I saw a pigeon go up to the owl, coo, rub his he’d on it, turn and flip his tail, and otherwise do the mating dance…. to a plastic owl. It was hilarious.
I might be getting a siamese… a friendly male with a collar was found about 3 miles out of town near the aqueduct, and no one has yet claimed him. Seems likely that someone traveling in an RV had stopped to fish and he escaped, rather than being dumped in the desert instead of town. But if they cared about him they would call our local shelter and not write him off to coyotes. He is currently being fostered.
Love today’s comic. Looks like this will be a fun week. I remember seeing that picture of Albert Einstein sticking his tongue out. It’s always nice to know that brilliant scientists have a sense of humor! On another note, saw some robins, some juncos, a rabbit, and a sparrow while out walking today.
