I understand that cats want to EAT sardines, but why do they want to smell like sardines? To make other cats like then??

Most perfumes smell horrible to me anyway.

Dale was averse to Estee perfume. Made him sick to his stomach, and he had to get off an elevator if somebody was wearing it.

I don’t buy sardines, but I bet my cats would love the smell (and the taste) of them.

I don’t have any solid black cats at the moment. I have a variety of colors right now.

Some of those cheap scented soaps and shampoos are worse than any perfume.

Good way for a gal to catch herself a fisherman.

I see one of Chesney’s ancestors has made an appearance again.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all. I’m a little depressed today as it’s the first birthday without my husband & now they’ve suspended the Silver Sneakers classes & the restaurants are closed, so not much to do to get through the day. I’m really glad I at least have GoComics & my friends at Ten Cats!

Beer or spicy wing smell behind a woman’s ears would attract more men than flower scents. Just saying.

My husband, on occasion, eats sardines. Smells up the whole house…..not in a good way.

My breakfast sandwich today was egg and sardine. The egg was fried in some of the olive oil from the sardine tin. The aroma in the kitchen is still lingering.

I stay as far away from all perfume as possible – I’m allergic to it. When I was a kid, I couldn’t figure out why my nose always got stuffier after I blew it…turns out it was those bleeping scented Puffs my mom always used to buy!

Sardine scented perfume would be quite stinky (of course, all perfume is), but it would probably be quite popular with cats. By that same reasoning, vultures would love roadkill scented perfume. On another note, saw some robins and a wren while out walking today. I also heard a Stellar’s jay and some frogs. Happy St. Patrick’s Day. :)

I’ve had a male Pileated Woodpecker on the feeder, and oak tree, outside the living room bay window…there is a female, and they have brought thier young to the feeder in previouse years. They love the suet cakes put out there. Eat the whole thing in about 5 minutes !! They nest in our back wooded acres.

My cats throughout the years have never liked sardines or any fish. I discovered sardines are only good to bait a live trap for a raccoon…(then carry it across a river so it wouldn’t come back.)
