I’m curious, how do children of same-sex parents (like Max) address them? Do they call them “Mom 1 and Mom 2”? Do they use their parents’ real names? Do they just call them both Mom or Dad like Max seems to be doing? If the latter, what if they want to address a specific parent?

You just know people are going to assume that Max is going goth.

How can teleportation possibly wear off? Does it send them back to where they were when the spell was cast?

I’m guessing when Marigold teleported the kids they got their DNA mixed up. It’s a good thing there were no flies in the area at that time.

I always wondered what would happen if someone teleported while a fly was in the ‘poration chamber. In fact I’m pretty sure someone’s done that as a movie.

Now they’re all mixed up in their heads…

So, Max’s mother can see Marigold?

After pondering this for awhile, I believe it was just the hair that changed. I recall Max being the taller of the two so hair excluded, Max’s body is in his clothes and vice versa. I interpret, “My hair does kinda suit you”, as indicating that Phoebe still occupying her body. Thus the only change seems to be the hair, unless there’s something I don’t know.

This looks adorable, even if it is a hairy situation.

At least they did not get splinched or worse (See: Star Trek the Motion Picture long cut)
