My Wal-Mart is getting some every couple days.

$85 a roll, he’s Bonespurs’ no-bid contractor for masks.

The irony will be, if they buy too much and don’t store it properly. Meaning somewhere climate controlled. It may deteriorate or be rodent infested before they use it. Which is likely to happen to people acting irrationally.

Things aren’t that bad yet. You’ll know when it’s really bad. They’ll be selling recycled TP.

We just bought 6 rolls of our preferred brand of TP today. Which officially makes us hoarders because we already had a two-month supply.

This was telegraphed from the second panel!Our local Safeway sells it now but they are price gauging which I thought was illegal.

I always knew that we’d wipe ourselves out.

Why bother stocking up on toilet paper? Just buy something at CVS and get plenty of free paper.

I was even able to buy hand sanitizer this week.

I never understood the rush on it in the first place. It looked to me the only reason the shelves were emptied is because some folks got it in their heads that it would somehow stop being made or delivered.

At a local store I went to yesterday, those shelves were still empty. I didn’t need any myself, but I heard one woman say that she had only one roll left for her whole family.

Strange, because you’d think the stores would now be limiting the amount they’d sell to one customer, and the original hoarders wouldn’t still be buying.

There’s either a glut or a famine. We had a good supply before all the panic buying and after 6 weeks were able to buy toilet paper. Only problem we usually buy a 8 roll pack and the only option was a 32 roll pack.

Hey, you can always use your stimulus check. It even has Donald Trump’s signature on it! Worth waiting an extra couple of days for that.

I don’t give a rip about toilet paper, and can always lay my hands on tissue. But I’d gladly give $20 for a quart of bleach.

I made my quarterly purchase the week before the wackos got started. I figure by the time I need more, the hoarders will no longer have room in their hovels for more tp.

Lame joke saw coming a mile away

A friend of mine got himself “banned” from Kroger’s because he complained to the store’s managers that they were not enforcing, or, in his opinion, even trying to enforce any of the local guidelines for social distancing, customer/employee masking requirements, and customer number limits.

It’s the thrill of the hunt.

The real gold is the good hand sanitizer. Still lacking in stores here. Our work however got some…….local brewery made ethyl alcohol…..80 proof……in big 1000 gallon truck size containers. We were issued four 5 gallon jugs and pumps and a bunch of small bottles………when this is all over a good old college kegger is planned. This stuff is fully drinkable!!!

The prices on paper towel and Loo paper have doubled. Maybe this will pull people away from paper towel usage? Re: the other? Trying to be as thrifty as possible. Wife says it’s OK to wipe my nose on my sleeve, like a Five year old, if it saves paper.

Sometimes it is fun to take a walk on the wild side, even if we are on the mild side.

Saw a bunch of Charmin at the local Target yesterday.

The big-box grocery store near me has pallets filled with cases of toilet paper located at the entrance to the store. The TP drought is OVER.

Because the people in my little patch of paradise are not as anally directed as the folks in the States, there has been no panic for paper and toilet paper is not only available in the stores but miraculously, the price hasn’t gone up. They are price-gouging on food, medical masks & gloves but not on toilet paper! Yippee!!

Just think of the great stories we’ll tell out grand kids about the great TP shortage of 2020 and how mom would ration us to 2 squares per trip. Will beat the stories of having to walk to school in chest deep snow both ways

I think Costco overreacted to the hysteria. The last time I was in the store they had pallets filling the length of aisle after aisle

During my lengthy tenure as a bachelor, I went thru TP fairly sparingly. It wasn’t until I got married and had it used by 2 people (1 of them female) that it seemed I was restocking every week.

I saw a post the other day that said “Walmart has tp now.” I thought. “I should comment out of the one million Walmarts in the world, which one are you talking about?” But I didn’t. I gave them a free ride.

Wiley missed an opportunity to have one of the cats cleaning herself you-know-where. They don’t need no stinkin’ toilet paper.

I was at Walgreens this morning and there shelf was bare. A clerk was starting to open boxes labeled “Scott” but I didn’t know if it was TP or paper towels. Not my brand so I didn’t worry about.

Next to the Wiley bears, I love the Wiley cats!

The really funny thing is that I made a joke about this very thing happening a couple of weeks ago when the whole TP thing started.

In Portland, where I work the TP panic buying has faded into memory, we still don’t have the stock we used to, but the product we do have lasts through the store hours.

we are lucky, my wife stocked up just before the pandemic and we had about 40 rolls in stock

So, the toilet paper manufacturers did some research years ago to find out who uses the most toilet paper. Got a guess? Nope that’s not it. There are two types, and one uses a lot more than the other. Guess again? Nope, still not right. The two types are folders and wadders. Turns out the wadders use a lot more. Now the critical question regarding TP: Over or under? Over, of course!!!!! Everybody knows that….

Given the current state of the intelligence of a lot of people, It would not surprise me if something like this is actually happening. In the 1920’s & 30’s it was booze; In 2020 (and possibly 2030’s) it is TP. What does this say about the state of society?
