Grew up on a farm, us kids would take our dog to a pond a couple of miles away to play. As far as we knew he never went there without us. He loved the pond, splashing in the water and chasing the ducks. He grew older and slower and I was away at college when my mother said he had disappeared. We found his body at the pond – dog heaven.
Our letter carrier only delivers every other day, leaves the mailbox open during rain and snowstorms, and repeatedly misdelivers mail. Looks like the right place to me.

That is what you get for bringing me junk mail. And bills. And IRS notices.
