And he said, “Go, and say to this people: “‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’ Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and blind their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.”
Earthquakes do make good alarm clocks too. When we were stationed in Riverside CA. I recall hearing my alarm go off, and thinking that I don’t recall it being loud enough to shake the bed. This must be an earthquake. So I got out of bed and went to stand in the doorway, which is what we were taught to do. My mother, who grew up in Iowa where the land tends to stay put, lost it and grabbed me and my dad in a head lock (dad was 6’3" while mom was only 5’ 9"). I think if we’d have had significant aftershock she would have packed up and been out of the state by sundown. I’ve also crossed Hurricanes and Tornados off my list.
Have never been able to confirm, but somewhere in the California mountains there are three very small faults discovered by seismology students who got to name them:

Kip W shared this with me yesterday I’m passing it Matthew 7 King James Version
1Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

“I’m accurately quoted in the Washington Post.” — former member of the ‘task force’ in the very near future.
Because Trump was just being sarcastic/joking/trying to bait reporters. And not LYING. Again.
