Mrs. Otterloop sure has quite the son when it comes to food.

Picky eaters can’t eat food with entertaining packaging.

Time to cut down on the sugar in Alice’s cereal.

“Yes, thank you, Alice. Why don’t you go show your father?”

Petey’s formulating his upcoming career as a pretentious food critic.

No way! “Pretentious” is not picky enough!

A precept I’ve always tried to live by.

He said no before looking at the Yummy Wads. And anyway, all food products seem to cause mindless glee in anyone pictured on the packaging.

“Yummy Wads-now with Ritalin”!!

The annoying joys of the little sister.

I am not picky but I wouldn’t eat anything called “Yummy Wads”.

I avoid mindless glee at all costs. Now, mindless drivel is another matter.

Careful, Alice, your face might get stuck like that.

Madeline should know better; even if she wrapped it in brown paper I bet the “wads” inside are frightfully bold in color. Petey’s ninja like pickyness meter is too powerful.

“Wads” sounds used, somehow.

A good reason to avoid TV…

Crummy Buns on The Dick Van Dyke Show (everyone’s reaction: “Yuck!”) come to mind.

He needs the same old boring Purina Petey Chow as usual.

Alice either didn’t get the message or is practicing to be mindless herself! What a face she makes!
