The lessons of shared fun and shared work. For those two, it’s way past time!

Every spring and every autumn Mom had a week each season to clean from ceiling to floor inside. Raking and stick gathering the other times. Boooring! But her persistence in making us do these things made us all good house/home keepers. Who wants to marry a lazy man or a slovenly housekeeper, eh? Thank you Mom!

New place, last year’s oak leaves still on the ground. I filled the “Mixed Organics” bin three times just cleaning up a small strip along the driveway.

Usually, both are complaining because Kate makes them put down the TV remote or game controllers and tells them to play outside.
