That extra helping of love was not accompanied with a helping of that t-bone steak you had for dinner.

Actually, dogs like “the same old same old;” it’s when we drastically change the menu that their insides get upset.

Today it’s fresh fish and potato cucumber salad. Does that fit, your majesty!

We buy the same brands of kibble and canned food, but each of them come in three flavors.

I always tried to change up that dry food with leftovers from us plus canned Alpo stew etc.

In some cases, love does not conquer all.

Changing dogs is good within reason. Helps with the variety of nutrients. Just don’t make it sudden or drastic.

I always tried to mix it up for my critters. The kitties would get liver or some type of fish or tuna oil. The same for the dogs. My golden who had various health issues would get a scrambled egg, a hamburger with violet leaves chopped into it, or a very small serving of whatever we were eating. A dollop of yogurt for the probiotics usually topped the high-end kibble.

Welp, it’s Easter Monday and that means diced ham and chicken for everyone and some canned salmon for the kittehs along with their normal dry. And lamb for the doggos.

I misread the third panel at first. It’d be clearer with quotation marks around “Thank you.”
