73-74 I was stationed on Shemya, Alaska, an Aleutian island so far west its latitude is east. Armed services television ran last week’s college games and old hands would take bets on the games from new guys who didn’t know the college schedule. They raked it in on upsets. Just sayin’ dad is fortunate.
Aeons ago I went with my then S/O, her Mom, Aunt & sister to see NBA game in her Father’s primo seats…in the era of short NBA trunks. The ladies got a tad flustered at the shorts…they liked them but they were a bit small & snug.
Basketball uniform shorts have gone from those ridiculous short shorts, to the baggy ass below the knee shorts, to the present day shorts that hit a happy medium. I think they finally got it right.
