I’d rather hear my pets noises than snapping gum, slurping coffee, tuneless whistling, cracking knuckles, off key humming, the list goes on and on.

I have some coworkers who like to talk “Animé”. I could put my headphones on and tune it out. Now they chat about it, and since we use the chat for work, have to read about it. (Until about 6 mos. ago I never knew there was such a thing as Squirrel Girl.)

The squeaky hedgehog toy is a bit too much.

Nothing will get you to fly out of bed at 2 AM faster than the noise of a cat barfing!

Sounds the same as the sounds I heard from my human co-workers. Thank goodness I don’t have to put up with that anymore – RETIRED!

And they’re about as productive! They seem to have the same work ethic as some of the people I used to work with. Just like the old saying about owning a boat: The two happiest days of my career were the day I got hired and the day I retired!

I can hear my co-worker from the other office. However after nearly 49 years of marriage, I can tune her voice out.

Some background music or “white noise” (like a fan) could help with the pet noises…

Looks like we have to get used to it. Unless HAZMAT Suit manufactures increase their output.

The advantage is that now, if I need to belch (or worse), I don’t need to worry about it offending anyone else. (And that becomes more of an issue the older I get…)
