Sonny and the Selkie-Gal met at night In a beautiful pea-green sea:They took some honey, and plenty of money Wrapped up in a five-pound note.Sonny looked up to the stars above, And sang to a small guitar,“O lovely Selkie, O Selkie, my love, What a beautiful Selkie you are, You are, You are! What a beautiful Selkie you are!”

What a beautiful dream ♡. Sonny’s subconscious is so poetic.

What color I think the sea is?

    Sea-colored.

    …I’ll see myself out.

I once went swimming without a cap when I had long hair, years ago. As soon as I stopped, turned my head to breathe, or changed direction, this heavy seaweed-like mass of wet hair flopped in front of my face.

It always made me laugh when the female lifeguards on “Baywatch” swam out to rescue someone with long hair streaming behind them, because the scene was clearly orchestrated by someone who’d never gone swimming with long unbound hair.
