Charlie Brown raises his arms.<BR><BR> Lucy turns to him and smiles: "I won, didn't I?" she gloats, dangling the ribbon in front of his face.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown stands looking after her. He says, "That's always been a problem with me...I've never known how to argue with success.."<BR><BR>

“Well, Charlie Brown, at least I WON FIRST PRIZE, and that alone, is what makes having entered Linus in the science fair WORTHWHILE! SO THERE!” says Lucy, in Panel 3, as she shows off her blue ribbon. VERY, VERY CREATIVE, indeed, but QUITE CRUEL, but then, Linus just can’t win, when it comes to dealing with big sis Lucy—she’ll pull all the stops possible, in order to attain whatever ambition she has, at the moment. Professor Lucy Van Pelt strikes again!

I don’t know what’s worse: the fact that she used her own brother as a science experiment, the fact that her parents either let her or didn’t catch on, the fact that she wasn’t instantly disqualified, or the fact that she actually won.
