I believe Claire is actually older than Lottie. She just looks young because she’s Little.

When the lower half of this page was posted in 2014, John Allison added a note that said, ‘What is “cod reggae”? I’m certain it’s a thing, but even Google isn’t helpful on this one. It’s one of those terms that only appears in music criticism, without having any apparent foundation.’

Google is more helpful these days. Wikipedia defines it as, “popularly used to describe reggae done by non-Caribbean people, often in a disparaging manner because of perceived inauthenticity”.

Also, Mimi, that’s what you get for prioritizing looking cool in your leather jacket over being warm and cozy like the Michelin girl there. You get to be cool. Freezing, in fact.

The puffer can also act as padding in case you’re hurled over a fence by a circus strongman.

In fairness, that bouncer could’ve been a lot more rude about it than he was, so there’s that at least.

The Eel sounds like a slimy place.

For a moment, I thought the sign next to the door said, “Food, beer, pig”. Closer examination leads me to believe that last word is actually “pie”. Though not sure why pie isn’t considered food.
