She didn’t have her trademark dyed fringe when she first appeared in Bobbins — possibly due to parental/employer dictate; she was working as a receptionist for her father, Len Pickering, at City Limit at the time — but that’s otherwise pretty much how she looked in the early Bobbins strips.

The light-blue scooter keeps detaching Ace Faces’ heads.
Of course, some of that can be chalked up to simply riding a Vespa. It’s one of the least-safe modes of transport.
