When I was a kid I had to walk to the TV to change channels, too. But there were only three channels we could watch, so it wasn’t that much trouble.
Come on! Now you make twice as many trips to the fridge for a beer!
And then there’s the waiting for a commercial to go to bathroom.
We got all of our exercise walking back and forth to channel surf.
Eno doesn’t look that old.
When I was a kid I WAS the remote.
Remember when the remote clicked to change the channel or volume?
And lest we forget, you had to smack the tv sometimes to bring in the picture…that burned calories…lol
Yeah, I remember that. All that work for Black and White TV and the Andy Griffith show.
Breakthrough! McCoys give the dude a flat TV.Now to get rid of the phone on the wall…
My first job was as a voice activated tv remote. My dad would tell me to change the channel, I would get up and go change the channel.
I was Dad’s remote way before the real thing was invented.
