The best ideas are often ruined by poor execution!

One of the best collages I ever made happened unwittingly. I had dropped a piece of white paper in the bottom of the waste basket in my craft/sewing room. As I cleaned, straightened/sewed, I just tossed the scraps and cut threads in there. At the end of the week , when I looked in to see if the basket needed emptying, the thread and shiny paper bits and twig pieces, etc., were in such a pleasing disarray, that I carefully lifted the paper out. I put it between two other pieces of paper and took it to the framer’s. It hangs on my wall with several other collages. . .

What would brighten her day would be you cleaning up your own mess.

Careful patting yourself on the back, kid. You could injure your arm. Or your back.

In more ways than one.

Who has a black carpet? I’m thinking he did everyone a favor by adding some color!
