the Christmas before the unexpected lay-off from the Salvation Army donation trailer attendant job I requested knee pads as sorting the items on the trailer’s floor was sore on the knees (and also didn’t want to wear and tear the jeans’ knees)

Flo got tired of always having to mend the kneecaps on his pants.

When I was a kid my mom put knee patches on my new pants before I wore them. She put them on the inside and outside of each knee. I was hard on the pants.
